Terms of Service

Last updated: May 10, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DinnersDunn (“we,” “our,” “us”) including dinnersdunn.app, the AI chef demo, the waitlist, and any related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DinnersDunn you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Use of Service

DinnersDunn provides AI-assisted recipe and meal planning suggestions for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to:

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The AI chef in DinnersDunn is powered by a large language model and produces suggestions based on your inputs. AI output can be wrong, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for using common sense and verifying ingredients, cook times, and food safety.

DinnersDunn is not a medical, nutritional, or allergy-management service. If you have an allergy, dietary restriction, or medical condition, always confirm ingredient labels and consult a qualified professional. Do not rely on the AI to make food-safety decisions for you.

Waitlist and Subscription Terms

You can join our waitlist by submitting your email. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access at a particular price or time. When paid plans become available, the price, billing cycle, and what is included will be shown at sign-up. You may cancel a paid subscription any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid except where required by law.

Intellectual Property

DinnersDunn, the DinnersDunn logo, and the underlying software, design, and content (other than your inputs and the AI’s outputs to you) are owned by Chef Matt Dunn and DinnersDunn. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written permission. You retain ownership of the inputs you provide; you grant us a limited license to use those inputs to operate and improve the Service.

User Content

Any text, ingredients, or messages you submit to the Service (“User Content”) is your responsibility. By submitting User Content you represent that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process it in order to operate the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DinnersDunn and Chef Matt Dunn are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $20 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DinnersDunn and Chef Matt Dunn from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could expose us or others to liability or harm.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
